The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is responsible for recruiting candidates for various positions within the provincial government. Below is a comprehensive guide covering the essential instructions that every applicant should follow:

1. Application Fee and Examination Instructions

Before proceeding with your online application, it’s imperative to read the “Important Instructions” provided on the PPSC official website www.ppsc.gop.pk. This section includes vital information about the application fee, written tests, and interviews. Familiarizing yourself with these instructions will help you navigate the application process smoothly and avoid any last-minute issues.

2. Age Concession for Government Employees

Employees of Federal Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous Bodies of the Federal Government, Provincial Government, and Local Bodies are not entitled to age concessions for their period of service in these organizations. This means that if you are currently employed in any of these students, you should calculate your age strictly based on the age limit criteria provided for the post you’re applying for jobs.

3. Qualification Equivalence

If your qualification is claimed to be equivalent to the prescribed qualifications for a particular post, you must provide an equivalence certificate. This certificate must be issued by the Higher Education Commission (H.E.C) or the Qualification Equivalence Determination Committee (Q.E.D.C) of the concerned department. The equivalence certificate is crucial and will be accepted by the Commission as final. Failure to present this certificate during the interview or when requested will result in the cancellation of your candidature.

4. Experience Verification

For candidates claiming experience from private firms or entities, it is mandatory to provide proof that the firm or entity was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Registrar of Firms, or any other regulatory authority. This proof must demonstrate that the private entity was a registered body during the period of claimed experience. Failure to provide this documentation will lead to the rejection of your application.

5. No Objection Certificate (NOC)

In-service candidates must obtain or apply for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) or Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC) from their concerned department(s) before applying for a particular post. This documents must be provided during the interview if you are called. Ensuring that you have this certificate beforehand will avoid any complications during the interview process.

6. Registration Certificates

When applying for posts requiring professional registration, such as PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council), PNC (Pakistan Nursing Council), PMDC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council), PMC (Pakistan Medical Commission), or PVMC (Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council), you must have obtained or applied for the relevant registration certificate by the closing date of the application. This certificate needs to be presented at the time of the interview if you are shortlisted.

7. Academic Marks and Certificates

Candidates must provide a certificate showing marks obtained, total marks, or percentage from the competent authority for all degrees during the interview. Note that CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is not acceptable. This requirement ensures that the qualifications meet the specified standards for the position.

8. Authenticity of Information
