Job Description
Qualification:
- BS (Computer Science) or equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks or Grade B from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- General Requirement: One year of experience in Database Administration with a reputed IT organization.
- Specialized Experience:
- At least six months of experience in designing, configuring, installing, and managing Oracle RDBMS/ORDOMS 8i, 9i, 10g, and 11g on Windows.
- Profound knowledge of:
- Normalization
- Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs)
- Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) & Enhanced ERDs (EERDs)
- Toad Modeler, MS Visio, etc.
Additional Skills:
- Understanding of Data Warehouse, Shell Scripting, and Data Mining concepts.
- Expertise in:
- Planning, testing, and implementing user-managed backup/disaster recovery solutions.
- Tools like Oracle Import/Export, Data Pump, RMAN.
- High proficiency in:
- Complex SQL queries
- PL-SQL procedures/functions/packages
Notes:
- Experience in private entities will be accepted if the entity is registered with SECP, Registrar of Firms, or another regulatory authority.
- The required experience must be obtained after achieving the prescribed qualifications.
- As per Clause (5) of the Punjab Waqf Properties Ordinance 1979, only Muslims can be appointed as officers.
